Dry Water Massage (Hydrojet)
What is a dry water massage
The dry water massage is performed in a special water jet tub covered with a thick waterproof foil (Hydrojet is the brand name). You lie down into it normally dressed and the jets of warm water start to swirl around under the foil so you remain dry throughout the procedure. It is possible to regulate the temperature, strength and direction of the water jets for the best results and experience. There is usually a weight limit for users, so if you are severely overweight, ask beforehand to avoid disappointment.
How a dry water massage helps
This method of water massage may be more comfortable for patients than the traditional direct water massage in whirlpool or tub as they need not undress. It is also accessible to patients with sensitive skin or some skin diseases who cannot take advantage of either a water massage or a classical dry massage. It has similar relaxing effects as the traditional procedures.
